Celebrate International Dog Day on 26 August

If you think every dog should have his day then we agree – and that day is 26 August. It’s a day set aside especially to honour all dogs of every shape and size, and to encourage would-be canine adopters to consider rehoming a rescue pooch.

International Dog Day started in 2004, and is now celebrated across the world. In King’s Cross, London, on the August Bank Holiday there’s even a special ‘Big Woof‘ event to mark the day, with dog shows, training sessions and even doggy tarot cards on offer. If you can’t get to London but don’t want your doggo to miss out, we’ve put together ten of the best doggy home accessories for your pampered pooch.
