Are you stuck for Christmas present ideas?
With the best will in the world, and despite shopping prowess, it can still be hard to know what to buy for some people. But for anyone into homes and interiors there are some good gift ideas out there, if you know where to look. We received these items as an early Christmas present from Ladbrokes, who are celebrating the release of their Christmas games, and either individually or together they make a lovely home related gift to receive.
Scented candles always make a nice home present (and are a good staple if you’re stuck for other ideas!) and there are loads of different candles to choose from. This vanilla and coconut pillar candle, from Shearer Candles, smells divine even before it’s lit and provides up to 100 hours of burning time. The black and white printed design is classic and distinctive, making it an attractive piece to have out on display in a room.
It’s no secret that we’re fond of Cath Kidston’s designs and products, so it was a real treat to receive these mugs. The set of four tea mugs are a dainty size and feature four popular patterned designs. They’re nicely packaged and come in a sturdy box – all you need to do is add some wrapping paper.
The WHSmith magazine gift subscription is a great idea and something that will be enjoyed all year. One of the benefits of the gift pack is that the recipient gets to choose which magazine they’d like for their subscription. With the Home magazine pack there’s a choice of four leading magazines – Country Living, Elle Decoration, Good Housekeeping or House Beautiful – so there should be something to cover all home interests and styles. This has definitely given us an idea for a hard-to-buy for recipient!
