These handmade clay decorations are rather special and a lot of work has gone into making each one.
Each decoration is individually cut from hand, air dried and hand painted on each side with intricate decorative detail. I love both the bird designs (which could be used and enjoyed all year round), but the stars are really nice and seasonal too. They’d make a lovely addition to a tree and come threaded with ribbon.
The clay Christmas decorations are made by Zosienka and Rosie Illustration and can be individually purchased for £15 each.
Update November 2014:
We know how popular these clay decorations have been with readers of Cosy Home. Unfortunately, they don’t currently seem to be available, but if you’re looking for handmade clay decorations, then have a look at some of these alternatives:
This gorgeous blue star is handmade from polymer clay and is beautifully decorated. It’s available from Flowertown Originals store on Etsy.
Aren’t these beautiful? Add some wintery snowflakes to your Christmas tree. They’re handmade and come as a set of three, from JosCreationsGR on Etsy.
If birds make your heart flutter, take a look at this cute handpainted ceramic bird by Reolofs and Reuben. They’re £9.50 each.
Or for an unusually shaped octagonal decoration, look at these, which are handmade in stoneware clay by Anna Alicia. They’re £9 each and a choice of patterns are available.
