Treasure storage display case
We’ve featured some similar display cases before, but we can’t resist this new find.
If you love collecting bits and pieces from your travels (postcards, tickets, photos), keeping letters or special post you’ve received in the mail, or enjoy putting together your own mini collections of treasured items (a lock of your baby’s hair, a foot or hand print painting, their first crayon drawing, or perhaps a selection of old family photos) then this display case is perfect for gathering, storing and displaying your mementoes, so that they’re not just hidden away in a drawer.
The distressed finish case is antique in style and it comes complete with a vintage fabric backdrop and some pins, ready to attach treasures.

Daybreak coastal print
The photo doesn’t do this print justice – it’s much nicer in real life.
It’s a print we’ve been coveting for a while, but I’ve just found it reduced in the end of season sale in Laura Ashley. It’s quite long – 30cm by 90cm – and depicts a coastal town, not unlike many along the Devon or Cornwall coast.
The Daybreak canvas print was £65, but is now reduced down to £40.95.

Made in Sweden from laminated birchwood, these trays are decorated with a trendy white leaf design.
Available in a choice of blossom pink or blackberry purple, the trays can easily be wiped clean and would make a cheery addition to any kitchen.

Hampstead houses wallpaper
British company, Little Greene, have a great range of speciality wallpapers, many inspired by heritage designs, that are well worth exploring.
Their collection of 50s line papers includes eight patterns drawn from original 1950s designs found in the wallpaper archive at the Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester.
Hampstead c. 1949 is one of the designs and features a wonderful selection of Hampstead scenes, including lots of lovely houses. Attributed to designer Els Calvetti, all of the line drawings are carefully recreated in the new wallpaper and it’s a fascinating design to have on your wall.
The Hampstead wallpaper is available in the ink colourway (as shown), plus a choice of other colour options, and costs £44.50 per roll from Little Greene.

Serve up a delicious sundae
Every kitchen needs a set of sundae glasses.
They’re perfect for making up a quick layered dessert and there’s nothing nicer than digging in through layers of ice cream, yogurt, mousse or fruit to see what’s underneath.

Mix and match spoons
I’m on the hunt for nice dessert spoons – the kind that have a pretty handle – as the pattern on my current ones is sadly wearing off.
I found some in a homeware shop recently that were perfect, except for the fact that they turned out to be £20 each…ouch!
But now I’ve spotted these Laguiole long handled spoons, which are thankfully more budget friendly and this time you get six spoons for £25.
The stainless steel Laguiole dessert spoons have a glossy acrylic handle in a mixture of jewel-like colours and they come in a presentation box.

Gorgeous love seat
Isn’t this patchwork bench lovely?
In terms of style and design, it reminds us a lot of the famed Plumo Kimono bench that everyone was lusting after a year or so ago. Like the Kimono bench, the Romany love seat is upholstered in a patchwork style, with a mix of colourful floral red and pink fabrics.
The feet are very similar to the Kimono bench too, as it’s finished off with lacquered legs, although this time in black, not red.
It’s a lovely piece of furniture and very striking. You could use it in a bedroom as an occasional seat, in your living room or even in a hall.

Sparkly door knob
Fed up with the look of your cupboard doors or want to jazz up a bedside table? If your fancy a change, then here’s a quick and easy way to update the look, without spending a fortune or doing loads of hard work. Rather than changing the furniture, why not change the door knobs or handles?
There are some lovely door knobs and handles available, but we rather like the glam look of this clear cut crystal glass door knob. The base of the handle has a silver chrome glazed finish and it would be perfect for use on a cupboard door, cabinet drawer or chest of drawers.
