Patchwork notice board
Ah, swoon! I’m in love with this fab patchwork noticeboard or pinboard!
I love the patchwork design and the great collection of assorted fabric patterns, which celebrate the art of patchworking. Made from the classic hexagon shape pieces of patchwork, this functional patchwork noticeboard has a wooden frame and is designed to be mounted on a wall.
It would be perfect for use in a craft room, study or kitchen and is very unusual, as noticeboards go. If you want to get your mitts on the patchwork noticeboard, then head over to the Colloco sale, where there’s nearly £20 off the original price.

Display your favourite trinkets
I rather like the idea of this shadow display box from Laura Ashley.
The box frame has nine little compartments inside with just the right amount of room to display all your favourite trinkets or items you’ve collected. I’d pop in shells found on beaches, favourite pebbles, small pieces of crystal and other favoured items.
The shadow display box is lined in a pale blue polka dot pattern and finished with a distressed effect cream paint. Best of all, it currently has £10 off the original price at Laura Ashley.

This unusual ceramic vase is designed to look like a sweetie bag - in fact, it almost looks like it’s made of paper, rather than porcelain.
Designed and made by Olivia Cassells, each sweetie bag vase is individual, so there are slight variations in shape. The extra sweet design detail on the inside back of the vase makes it as interesting when not in use than when flowers or even sweets are displayed inside.
The sweetie bag vase is 20 to 25cm tall and comes with a co-ordinated peg tag detail that can be removed if desired. The vase costs £39, with free p&p, from Not On The High Street.

London map tea towel
Everyone needs a good stack of tea towels in the kitchen, but it’s even better when they’re interesting!
This 100% cotton tea towel features a London map – but look closer, and you’ll notice it’s rather unusual.
The whole of the map is made up of the written names of London places. It’s a clever idea and is guaranteed to provide plenty of interest as you endure the joys of drying up the dishes.
The London map tea towel is by Unity Peg and costs £8 from To Dry For.

As they come in a pair, why not keep one for yourself and give the other away as a gift?

Round lantern
This unusual round glass storm lantern looks almost nautical in style. It’s made from glass and nickel plated stainless steel and works well with a small pillar candle inside.
The glass storm lantern is a limited edition piece and can be purchased from Nordic House.

Useful card display
This heart trail card holder offers a useful way of displaying birthday cards, Christmas cards or even postcards in your home.
The ‘trail’ features a series of little hearts, in which you pop your cards. It’s very versatile, as it can be hung horizontally or vertically, and measures 120cm in length.
Best of all, the heart trail card holder is currently reduced by half price (until 30th August) and is now only £4.50 from Dibor.

Glasses for all occasions
These glasses are not only stylish, but I rather like their name too – Linea Spirit Crystal glasses. You don’t have to believe in spirits, or drink spirits from them (although I could be persuaded to do the latter, ahem), but if you’re looking for glasses that would add the perfect finishing touch to a dinner table or drinks party, then these are ideal.
Made from cut crystal, each of the glasses has a kind of swirly finish on them which makes them stand out. A whole array of different sizes are available, from elegant champagne flutes, to white wine glasses, champagne saucers (the wide brimmed one), hi balls and tumblers.
All of the Linea Spirit Crystal glasses are now half price at House of Fraser and are only £6 each.

Ornate frame
Multi photo frames are great for displaying several of your favourite photos, or for grouping together shots of family members.
A lot of the multi frames available are pretty standard, with plainish frames, so it’s nice to find one that is stylishly ornate. This collage frame by Sicura holds three photos and the cutwork detail around the edge of the frame is almost lace-like in its detail.
The triple frame is well priced at only £9.99 from Home Sense, so you could even afford to get a matching pair!
