Slate tree picture
This gorgeous piece of art is created by Bolt Hole Art, who specialise in creating handmade art works from slate, and it’s a really unusual piece.
The slate comes from reclaimed roof tiles and green Cumbrian slate, sourced by Honister Slate Mine, which then has a carved plaster relief design added to it.
The simple tree design is really effective and is an image that runs through much of their work.
