This beautiful nineteenth century chinoiserie mantel clock is on sale for £545 from Tic Toc Clocks, on Selling Antiques.
The ornate clock has criss cross panels on the sides, birds on the top and a detailed oriental scene on the front. It dates back to 1880, is 28cm high, 21cm wide, and 10cm deep.
I love mantel clocks, this piece is very fine. I do however prefer antique silver clocks, specifically those from the Edwardian era. Such fabulous pieces for the home.
