If you’re looking for a cosy retreat that’s got a camping feel to it, but the bonus of a proper bed, then Posey The Bluebell Wood in the heart of the Cotswolds, is the perfect place for a rural escape.
Suitable for a couple, you get to stay in a traditional shepherd’s hut, in a Gloucestershire bluebell wood. Inside the hut, it’s decorated in vintage rose style, echoing the woodland outside. Basic supplies, such as tea, coffee, milk and a bottle of wine are provided for your break and you can even order a breakfast hamper to be delivered to your hut if you wish.
An oven and gas ring are provided, but you can also have a camp fire or barbecue for a more rustic camping experience. There’s another hut nearby and you share a fridge and freezer, plus a double compost loo and shower.
Posey sleeps two and can be booked via Sawday’s Canopy and Stars.
