Vintage button wallpaper

Special wallpaper for a decorating project

Button wallpaper

Button wallpaper, anyone?

I love buttons and like wallpaper, so it kind of makes sense that button wallpaper appeals! This special wallpaper features a lovely design featuring an array of vintage buttons in soft pastel colours.

It’s sadly a bit on the pricey side and decorating an entire room in it could be a costly business, but used in moderation to decorate a feature wall, or even in other projects, you may just run to it.

The buttons wallpaper is available from Berry Red and costs (take a deep breath) £130 per roll.

Alternatively, you could always start a button collection and stick them to a plain wallpaper for a decorative 3d effect.

Floral chintz

Chintz is not for everyone, but the Cath Kidston interpretation of floral chintz wallpaper uses modern, uplifting colours that work perfectly with a shabby chic decor scheme and in rooms for the young or old.

Rose sprig wallpaper

The rose sprig wallpaper design uses smaller sprigs of flowers arranged in a more orderly pattern. Perfect for a lower-key floral design, it’s got a traditional feel to it and looks as good on the wall as it does used for other purposes, such as made into drawer liners.

Friendly robot wallpaper decorating ideas

I didn’t think I’d find myself going mad about robot wallpaper, but these friendly looking pastel robots are hard to resist!

Children's room wallpaper decorating idea

The design successfully blends robotic features with nostalgic prints and there are robots decorated in a multitude of colours and patterns.

If your child likes robots, then it would work well in a child’s bedroom. However, robots definitely need not be just for children and if you’re an adult wanting a quirky or different wallpaper, perhaps for decorating a small area or feature wall, then you could give this one a go. It’s sure to be a talking point!

The robot wallpaper doesn’t come cheap (£120 per roll!) and you can find it for sale at Catkin Collection.

Andrew Martin Library wallpaper from Fabrics and Papers

Bookshelf feature wall library wallpaper

Old library wallpaper

Andrew Martin produces some fantastic wallpaper designs – think vintage, ephemera and different. Some of his collection includes wallpapers based on love letters, stamps and old maps.

As much as we love the other designs, we’re particularly coveting his Library wallpaper, not least as you can create the look and feel of a library full of old books, without needing loads of free space in your home.

The wallpaper comes in a set of two 10m rolls, each slightly different, which helps created a more varied library on the wall.

It sadly doesn’t come cheap, but it looks so effective. Fabrics and Papers have the Andrew Martin Library wallpaper in stock for (gulp) £119.90 per 2 roll pack.

If you like all things bookish in interior decorating, then check out this bookshelf wallpaper post for more ideas.

It’s not long since we blogged about the Little Greene Hampstead wallpaper, which features lots of lovely drawings of homes, but now we’ve spotted another town house design that’s equally nice.

Designer Mary Kilvert, of the colourful sheep fame, has produced this wonderful Town Houses wallpaper, featuring tiny houses inspired by old childhood toys.

It’s not cheap at £60 per roll, but it would look great in a child’s bedroom or nursery.
