Clock plates
These vintage style clocks look so realistic, but they won’t actually help you tell the time, as they’re decorative plates.
The set includes six plates (two each of three designs) and you can use them in various ways.
For example, they could be hung on the wall, propped up on a shelf, used to serve nibbles at a party (they are food safe) or simply to offload your spare coins or keys in at the end of the day.

If you’ve got a magnetic memo board or noticeboard at home, or simply like the idea of sprucing up your fridge, then here’s a lovely set of magnets you could use.
They come as a set of six and include a selection of designs – including animals (birds and butterflies) and nice floral patterns.
Even the plainest of magnetic memo boards will be livened up with the addition of these beauties!

Distressed frame
This distressed look Mala photo frame is in a lovely shade of pale turquoise blue.
It fits a 6″ by 4″ photo and is part of the product range from Nkuku, who specialise in fair trade and socially responsible items from Africa and India.
As well as selling items on their own website, they’re also stocked by other retailers, including Selfridges, who have the Mala distressed wood photo frame available.

Scented heart
This lovely heart decoration combines style with scent.
Made from natural materials, including twigs and leaves, the country style heart can be hung up in your home and makes a lovely seasonal decoration.
It releases a wonderful winter scent, consisting of zesty orange, warm and spicy cinnamon and clove – perfect for this time of year!

Vintage style paperweight
This is a lovely vintage style bird design paperweight!
I’ve got it in use at home, weighing down a pile of loose papers, and it’s a really pretty design.
The birdie paperweight can be purchased from Lavender Room, where it costs £22.
It’s also available in a soft green colourway.
Decorative vase
We featured the Brissi Betty round rose vase last year, but we’ve just discovered the range is available from John Lewis too. They’ve got several of the vases in stock online, including this rather nice Lola vase.
The taupe coloured ceramic vase features a lovely floral design, with a decorative flower that really stands out on the front of it. It’s finished with a glaze, to give it a slight shine.
The small sized Lola vase costs £19 from John Lewis. A larger, taller version is available for £25.
Sparkly door knob
Fed up with the look of your cupboard doors or want to jazz up a bedside table? If your fancy a change, then here’s a quick and easy way to update the look, without spending a fortune or doing loads of hard work. Rather than changing the furniture, why not change the door knobs or handles?
There are some lovely door knobs and handles available, but we rather like the glam look of this clear cut crystal glass door knob. The base of the handle has a silver chrome glazed finish and it would be perfect for use on a cupboard door, cabinet drawer or chest of drawers.

Practical brass stool
Isn’t this stool lovely?
It’s made from brass and finished with antique silver effect and, as well as being highly decorative, it’s functional too.
It would like great used in a bedroom as a bedside table, or the living room as an occasional stool.
The brass frette stool is sold by Lombok. It’s usually priced at £195, but if you catch it in the Bank Holiday Sale, you can get it for £156.
Home design hooks

The home design metal hooks provide four useful hanging hooks, where you could hang your keys or other bits and pieces.
It’s also a very decorative home accessory, as the design is adorned with birds, butterflies and flowers, so the piece would look good simply hung on the wall.

Handmade tealight holder
This beautifully delicate tea light holder is handmade from porcelain by ceramicist, Carys Boyle.
The intricate rim has a shiny lustre finish and is available in gold or silver.
The tealight holder would be ideal to use as a centrepiece on a table for an intimate dinner, or simply as a decorative home accessory.
