This lovely shiny silver Miss Etoile bowl is a bit of a fab find – especially as it’s currently reduced in price!
This Miss Etoile silver ceramic bowl can be used as a serving bowl or simply to have on display on a shelf. The shiny silver outside is wonderfully reflective and it looks great, however it’s used.

To be honest, I tend to forget to look at the home accessories and soft furnishings available at H&M, but having had a bit of a browse recently, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by what’s available and must remember to check them out more often.
The items are stylish and on trend and the prices are very reasonable, so perfect if you’re shopping on a budget. If you’re looking to update your home accessories with a new look, then here are some top picks that won’t put too much of a strain on your wallet!
Chunky knit cushion
Chunky knit cushions are bang on autumn/winter home trends and elsewhere some of them are quite pricey. But this knit cushion cover from H&M gives you the great look and feel of a chunky knit cushion, without the hefty price tag.
Made from wool and acrylic, the cream cushion cover costs £14.99.
Linen table runner
Fresh and uplifting, this green linen table runner will add a splash of colour onto your table on even the dullest day.
Made from 100% linen, it’s finished off with a pretty double edged frill trim. It’s only £14.99.
Floral textile baskets
These pretty textile baskets, with their floral prints, are perfect for various storage needs and would look great in a bedroom. They come in a set of two, with a large and a small basket, costing only £7.99 for the pair.
Fit for the best bedrooms
One can but dream! The Please Do Not Disturb – Presidential Suite pillowcase, with its key design, is made from fine organic cotton and costs just £6.99.

We’ve been swooning over the sale bargains currently available at Graham and Green. If you’ve not yet had a look, we’d definitely advice a browse.
In the meantime, here are some of the beauties that caught our eye.
Vibrant cushions
These embroidered gypsy caravan cushions are bursting with colour and design. They’re based in tribal Indian prints and patterns and feature gorgeous embroidery.
The cushions are available in a choice of four colours and they’re each reduced down to £24.50 each.
Stunning metal pendant light
This is one stunning pendant light!
Handmade in Birmingham and available in either solid copper or solid brass, this Stanley Small hammered pendant light would be dramatic and eye-catching hanging in a room of your home.
The brass Stanley Small pendant is now £186.90 (from £267) and the copper option is now priced at £234.50 (down from £335). Not cheap, but utterly gorgeous and a very special light.
Shiny metal compost bin
It’s not the most exciting purchase, but making your own compost is surprisingly satisfying (and it is exciting when all your ingredients eventually transform into useable garden compost!). This galvanised garden composter is a good size for a starter and is reduced down to £28.
Useful ice bucket
I don’t have an ice bucket, but love the idea of owning one – and when it’s reduced in price, it’s hard to resist.
This lovely cream ice bucket has a lid and handles on the side, plus it comes with a very useful scoop to use to get the ice out. Perfect for parties and entertaining at any time of year.
The ice bucket is now only £14 in the sale.

Pretty candle holder
Candlelight adds to the atmosphere when you’re serving a romantic dinner, having a dinner party or a cosy night in at home.
There’s a wide variety of candle and tea light holders available from numerous stores, but we thought this one was a particularly good buy.
The antique silver effect tea light holder is exceedingly well priced at only £2 each – or if you buy a set of four, there’s an extra saving, as you only pay £7.
The tea light holder measures 7cm and, with the crackled silver effect on the outside, you can be sure the candlelight will flicker through casting light and shadows in an interesting way. We bet they’d look great grouped together in a cluster.

Blue ceramic vase
Also Home have a new range in stock of blue fish design ceramics, which are in the style of traditional Vietnamese ceramics.
A lot of their collection focuses around dinnerware, but we spotted this cylinder vase too, which is a bit of a bargain.
The vase is handpainted with shoals of fish swimming around it and is 19cm in height. When you’re not using it as a vase, we reckon it would double up as a useful kitchen utensils or accessories pot.
The blue fish cylinder vase was £20, but is now priced at only £12 from Also Home.
The sale is on at Cox and Cox, with up to 50% off homeware and accessories.
The ingenious walnut key, which offers and easy way of cracking open walnuts, is reduced from £6 to £3.60.
Have fun making homemade biscuits, with the exclusive jigsaw puzzle shaped cookie cutter. Once baked, all the biscuits can be joined together, if you wish. The biscuit cutter was priced at £4, but is now only £2.80.
The fun blue and white craft pack kit contains all you need to make three quirky owls. The owl craft set was £13.80 and is now reduced to £7.80 in the sale.
Like many other retailers, Laura Ashley currently has up to 50% off in their January sale, including lots of lovely homeware items.
Two tier cake stand
This two tier duck egg blue earthenware cake stand, with its pretty scalloped edges, is reduced to £14.
Floral wallpaper
Lots of wallpaper designs are half price, including this classic black, grey and white Isodore floral wallpaper, is now £15 per roll. The wallpaper is suitable for use in all rooms, including well ventilated kitchens and bathrooms.
An on-trend cerise chain-stiched wool and cotton Britannia cushion is now priced at £24.50.
This quirky blue Dorothy appliqued teacup cushion is now £19.00
Other items we like include the beautiful amethyst Truscott hand-knotted quilted bedspread (now £105), the Chella three light chandelier (now £59.50), the stripe Mandarine rug (now £56) and the cutout mirrored butterfly wall stickers (now £4).
