Brass castle key bottle opener from Anthropologie

Anthropologie are renowned for having some unusual home accessories and this is surely one of them. The over-sized, whimsical ‘castle key’ is actually a cleverly designed bottle opener.

It functions very well for the task of opening bottles, but when not in use, it’s far too nice to hide away in a kitchen drawer. Instead, you could tie a length of pretty ribbon around the top of it and hang the key on a hook on display in your kitchen, or pop it on a shelf where it will be seen.

The large key is made from brass, with ornate decorations, and is a sturdy piece – just the sort of key that would unlock the door of a large house or castle!
