Recycled, handmade blanket

Every self-respecting cosy home needs a snuggly blanket or two – especially in our current weather!

Crochet patchwork blankets are making a comeback and if you don’t have the skills to make your own, take to thrifting from car boots or Ebay, or snap up one of these recycled blankets from moozlehome at NotOnTheHighStreet.

Every blanket is unique, made from recycled yarn and they come in a variety of colourways including mixed, white and brights for £45.

Love is a Teacup handcrafted cake stand

One-of-a-kind cake stand

One-of-a-kind cake stand

This is a real one-of-a-kind cake stand that you won’t find replicated anywhere else.

Created from a mix of pre-loved pink and gold themed plates, held together with a crystal vase and a vintage sundae glass, the cake stand measures 19.5cm in height and has three layers ready to be filled with tempting cakes.

It would add a touch of old fashioned elegance to your tea table or, if you’re on a post-Christmas diet, you could use it in a bedroom to display your jewellery on.

Snap up the Love is a Tea Cup cake stand from Not On The High Street.

Laura Ashley tea for one set

Tea for one

Tea for one

We’re on a mission to rid desks of chipped mugs for the coming year. Instead, we hope to see pretty tea for one sets such as Laura Ashley’s ‘Josette’ in the office.

Comprising a mini bone china teapot, cup and saucer, it’s perfectly delightful. And just to top it off, it’s dishwasher and microwave safe.

Turn over a new (tea) leaf at Laura Ashley for £22.
